3. File & Document Privacy
This is our most important commitment: your files stay on your device.
All file-based tools on VilmoraTools — including PDF compressor, image enhancer, background remover, PDF merger, and others — process your files entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. No file data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party server.
Once you close or refresh the tab, any file data held in browser memory is cleared automatically.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use minimal cookies and browser storage:
- Session storage: Used to temporarily store your Google login session within the current browser tab. Cleared when you close the tab.
- Local storage: May be used to remember your tool preferences (e.g., dark mode, last-used settings). No personal data is stored.
- Analytics cookies: If analytics services are enabled, they may set cookies to track aggregated, anonymous usage. These do not identify you personally.
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time via your browser settings.
5. Third-Party Services
VilmoraTools uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google Identity Services — for optional Google sign-in. If you choose to sign in, Google may collect data per their Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — our backend database for storing site settings and user preferences. Data is stored securely. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
- CDN providers (jsDelivr, Cloudflare) — used to serve JavaScript libraries. They may log requests per their own policies.
We do not use advertising networks that track you across the web for behavioral targeting.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect any data we do handle, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your browser up to date.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal data
- Opt-out — opt out of analytics tracking (you can do this via browser settings or a Do Not Track header)

VilmoraTools is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
